BRANDING CREATIVES. Everything a brand prints, builds and puts on a shelf.

A brand is remembered by what people touch: the card, the box, the poster in the store. We design all of it in one language.

Story Design designs branding creatives for product brands from its studio in Noida (Delhi NCR), India: logos and stationery, packaging, hoardings and press ads, brochures and catalogues, roll-up standees, in-store merchandising and POSM such as danglers, posters, display units and glow signs. The studio has completed 350+ branding projects in India and the Middle East, for brands including Kenstar, HPL, Haier, Oristar, MEFC, Del Monte and Yonex.

Seven formats, one brand language.

Each case shows one format we design, from the logo on a business card to the dangler above a store aisle. Several come from the same launch, which is the point: one brand, carried everywhere.

Case 01 · Logo & stationery · La Credo

A name, a mark, and a box to wear it.

La Credo's brief to Story Design covered strategy, naming, brand identity and packaging for a new ceiling fan brand. The identity pairs a square, bracket-like mark with a light sans-serif wordmark in black, white and one red, Pantone 180 C, and it carries straight onto the packaging for the Classica, Rapido and Italiana fans.

Brief

A new fan brand that had to look established on its first day in the store.

Move

A restrained mark and a strict palette, so the name reads as premium and the product photography does the selling.

Made

Brand strategy, naming, logo, colour and type, and packaging concepts for three fan ranges.

Case 02 · Packaging · Kenstar

250 products, one shelf language.

Story Design created the visual brand language for Kenstar's packaging: one system of red brand panels, product photography on white, feature icons and range names, applied across 250 products from mixer grinders to water heaters, so every box reads as Kenstar from across the aisle.

Wilson Smart LED TV: packaging brand language

Brief

Hundreds of SKUs, many factories and printers, and a shelf where every competitor is also red and white.

Move

Fix the rules, not the boxes: where the logo sits, how the product is shot, how features are shown, so any new pack is right first time.

Made

A packaging brand language and pack layouts for the range, plus concepts for the Stello mixer grinder.

Case 03 · Hoardings & press ads

Three seconds, at sixty kilometres an hour.

Story Design designs outdoor and press advertising for product brands: a deep-green hoarding and bus-shelter poster for Del Monte, a Zerpher ceiling fan hoarding for HPL, Nanoray badminton racket posters for Yonex, and festive newspaper ads for Haier India in The Times of India.

Brief

Be read by people who are driving, walking past or turning a newspaper page.

Move

One image, one short line, the brand big. Everything else goes to the brochure or the website.

Made

Hoardings, bus-shelter posters, retail posters and newspaper ads, adapted to every size the media plan needs.

Case 04 · Brochures & catalogues

The sales conversation, folded and printed.

Story Design designs corporate and product brochures that sales teams actually use: a corporate brochure for Middle East Fiber Cable Manufacturing Co. (MEFC) with raised UV on the cover, a fan range brochure for Oristar with exploded product drawings and spec tables, a corporate brochure for UFLEX's chemicals business, a tri-fold catalogue and washing machine brochure for Haier India, and a Zerpher fan brochure for HPL in the same language as its packaging.

Brief

Help a buyer understand the company, compare models and trust the product, in print, at an exhibition and on WhatsApp.

Move

Lead with one idea and one strong image; show the product's insides where they sell it; put models in clean spec tables; finish the cover with raised UV so it is remembered in the hand.

Made

Mood boards, cover options, page layouts and print finishes (raised UV, gloss, matte, debossing), delivered print-ready and as light PDFs.

Case 05 · Standee · HPL Zerpher

Six feet tall, read from the door.

For HPL's Zerpher ceiling fan, Story Design designed a roll-up standee for stores and exhibition stalls: the HPL diamond and the line “Fashion icon for your ceiling” at eye level, the fan shot at a low, sculptural angle in the middle, and feature icons and contact details at the bottom.

Brief

A portable piece that works in a dealer's shop on Monday and at a trade fair on Friday.

Move

Brand and promise in the top third, where eyes land; product in the middle; details low, for people who walk closer.

Made

A print-ready roll-up standee in the Zerpher brand language, sized for standard banner stands.

Case 06 · Merchandising · display units

The store wall, designed like a product.

Story Design designs in-store merchandising that shows the product off: for HPL, a wall-mounted display unit that holds a working Zerpher ceiling fan above a diagonal red spine of blade and motor samples; for Haier India, body and product graphics for its self-cleaning washing machine.

Brief

Fans and appliances look alike on a dealer's wall. The brand needed a place of its own in the store.

Move

Treat the display as industrial design: real finishes, a working product, and a shape that is the brand's red sweep in 3D.

Made

A wall display unit design with 3D views, and product body graphics for the washing machine.

Case 07 · POSM · HPL Zerpher

Danglers, glow signs, and posters that point.

Story Design designed the point-of-sale kit for HPL's Zerpher launch in one brand language: ceiling danglers that lead the eye down a store aisle, a backlit LED glow board with a red edge light for the shop front, and a poster that repeats the line “Fashion icon for your ceiling”.

Brief

Give dealers a kit that makes a small shop look like an HPL store.

Move

Every piece is cut from the same red diamond and diagonal sweep, so even one dangler is recognisably HPL.

Made

Danglers, an LED glow board, posters and shop signage, with print and fabrication files.

How the work runs

From brief to the printer's proof.

Every creative follows the same five stages, so a standee and a hoarding made months apart still look like one brand.

  1. Brief and auditWhat the brand stands for, where each piece will live, and what the competition already says.
  2. Concept routesTwo or three design directions, shown on real formats, not just a logo on white.
  3. Design systemThe chosen route turned into rules: grid, colour, type, imagery and icons.
  4. Artwork and adaptationsFinal artwork for every size, language and format in the media plan.
  5. Print and fabrication supportProofs, colour checks and specifications for printers and fabricators.
Notes · quick answers

Branding creatives, in brief.

The same answers appear in the Story Design FAQ.

01

Does Story Design design logos and stationery?

Yes. Story Design designs logos, brand identities and stationery as part of its 350+ branding projects. For La Credo, a ceiling fan brand, the studio's brief covered strategy, naming, brand identity and packaging.

02

What does a stationery design set include?

A stationery set usually includes business cards, a letterhead, envelopes, a compliments slip, an email signature and document templates, all designed from the brand's logo, colours and typefaces so every piece looks like the same company.

03

What makes packaging successful?

Successful packaging gets noticed, tells the shopper what the product is and why to buy it within a few seconds, protects the product through the supply chain, meets labelling law, and is affordable to produce on your filling or packing line.

04

What makes a good hoarding design?

A good hoarding can be read in about three seconds from a moving vehicle: one strong image, a short headline, a large brand mark and high contrast that survives sunlight and distance. Anything that needs a second look is usually lost.

05

Does Story Design design brochures and catalogues?

Yes. Story Design designs product brochures, catalogues, leaflets, posters and exhibition material as part of its 350+ branding projects, including a tri-fold washing machine brochure for Haier and a corporate brochure for Middle East Fiber Cable Manufacturing Co. (MEFC).

06

What size is a standard roll-up standee?

The most common roll-up standee is about 850 x 2000 mm, often sold in India as 2.5 x 6 feet; 3 x 6 feet is also widely used. Keep the logo and main message in the top half, at eye level, because the bottom of a standee is often hidden.

07

What is POSM?

POSM (point-of-sale materials) are the printed and built pieces that sell a product where it is bought: danglers, posters, shelf strips, standees, display units, glow signs and counter displays.

08

What is the difference between merchandising and POSM?

Merchandising is how products are displayed and presented in a store so they are easy to see, compare and buy. POSM are the materials that support it, such as danglers, standees, shelf strips, display units and glow signs.
