EVENTS & EXHIBITIONS. Stalls, displays and screens that stop the aisle.

Visitors give a stall about three seconds. We design for those three seconds: one clear brand, one hero product, one screen worth stopping for.

Story Design designs and builds exhibition stalls and event spaces for product brands in India, the UAE and Saudi Arabia, from its studio in Noida (Delhi NCR): stall concepts, 3D views and production drawings, fabrication and on-site installation, product display units, standees, LED signage and 3D films for stall screens, for trade fairs, product launches and dealer meets. Stalls include Golstar at LED Expo Mumbai, Tharwah in Saudi Arabia and Arab Lab Scientific Equipment in the Middle East.

Designed, built, walked up to.

Three stalls we designed and built, in Mumbai, Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, a launch display system that travels from store to stall, and the screen content that makes people stop.

Case 01 · Stall design & build · Golstar, LED Expo Mumbai

A red room of light, in a hall full of lights.

Story Design designed and built the Golstar stall at LED Expo Mumbai: an open, two-sided corner stand in Golstar red and white, with an illuminated star fascia visible down both aisles, lit wall displays for the LED range, a reception counter on the corner and a seating area for dealer meetings. The studio took it from sketches and 3D views to production drawings, fabrication and on-site installation.

Brief

A bold, product-focused stall that reflects Golstar's brand, shows the LED range clearly and gives dealers a place to sit and talk.

Move

Make the brand the light source: a glowing star fascia above a red and white box, with every product wall lit like a showroom.

Made

Concept sketches, 3D views, production drawings, fabrication, on-site installation and branding, delivered on the committed timeline.

Case 02 · Stall design & fabrication · Tharwah, Saudi Arabia

Three circles, and an award on the counter.

For Tharwah, a Saudi training and human-capital company, Story Design designed and built a compact exhibition stand around the brand's three-circle mark: a backlit white tower carrying the logo, a glowing reception counter with the Arabic and English wordmark, suspended light boxes, a glass-walled meeting room and a screen wall for the “Empowering human potential” campaign. The stand received a Best Innovative Booth award.

Brief

Give a people-development company a stand that feels as calm and premium as its brand, in a hotel ballroom full of competitors.

Move

Let the logo do the work: its three circles, backlit, at the height people see first, with a counter that glows from inside.

Made

Stand design, 3D views, fabrication, light boxes, counter, meeting room and screen graphics.

Case 03 · Stall design & fabrication · Arab Lab, Middle East

A laboratory stand with a local accent.

For Arab Lab Scientific Equipment, a laboratory equipment supplier in the Middle East, Story Design designed and fabricated an exhibition stand in white and warm orange: Arabic geometric lattice panels framing backlit product lightboxes, a large LED screen carrying the line “Your Lab's Smart? We'll Make it Smarter”, and lit display counters for the brands Arab Lab represents.

Brief

Present a distributor with many partner brands as one clear, premium company.

Move

A calm white structure with one warm accent colour and a regional pattern, so partner brands sit inside Arab Lab's own look.

Made

Stand design, 3D views, fabrication drawings, lightbox graphics and screen content.

Case 04 · Launch display system · HPL Zerpher

A fan you can walk up to, on any floor.

For the launch of HPL's Zerpher ceiling fan, Story Design designed a family of display pieces that work in a store, at a dealer meet or on an exhibition stall: a wall display unit that holds a working fan above a red spine of blade and motor samples, a roll-up standee, a backlit LED glow board and ceiling danglers, all in one brand language.

Brief

Launch a ceiling fan, a product people judge by looking up, in places where it is usually a box on the floor.

Move

Put a working fan at eye level on a wall unit shaped like the brand's red sweep, and surround it with portable pieces that travel from store to stall.

Made

A wall display unit design with 3D views, a standee, an LED glow board and danglers, with files for fabricators and printers.

Case 05 · Stall screens · 3D animation loops

The screen that stops the aisle.

Every 3D product animation Story Design makes can be re-cut for an exhibition stall: a silent, seamless loop for an LED wall or TV, with large supers instead of voice-over, because stalls are loud and visitors give a screen about three seconds. The films below, for Oristar, Sujata, IVAS and HYBEC, show the kind of footage a stall loop is cut from.

Brief

A stall screen has to work without sound, from five metres away, for people who are walking.

Move

Big product, big words, short scenes, and a loop with no visible start or end.

Made

Loop edits of the brand's animations, sized for the stall's screens and LED walls.

Notes · quick answers

Events & exhibitions, in brief.

The same answers appear in the Story Design FAQ.

01

Does Story Design design exhibition stalls?

Yes. Story Design designs and builds exhibition stalls in India and the Middle East: concept sketches, 3D views, production drawings, fabrication and on-site installation, plus graphics, product display units and screen films. Projects include the Golstar stall at LED Expo Mumbai and a stand for Arab Lab Scientific Equipment.

02

What should an exhibition stall design include?

An exhibition stall design should include a layout plan with product display, demo and meeting areas, elevations with graphics and lighting, a brand name and headline visible from the aisle, content for screens, and drawings the fabricator can build from.

03

How early should you start designing an exhibition stall?

Start eight to twelve weeks before the show. That leaves time for the design, the organiser's approvals, fabrication and printing; screen films and product samples often take the longest.

04

Should I register my design before launching the product?

Yes. A design must be new when you file, so file the design application before the product is shown publicly at a launch, trade fair or online listing.
