UGC VIDEO. Real faces, real rooms, real products.

People scroll past ads. They stop for a person they believe. We make videos that look and sound like a recommendation, not a commercial.

Story Design produces UGC (user-generated content) style videos for product brands from its studio in Noida (Delhi NCR), India: creator-led unboxings, demos, reviews, try-ons and lookbooks, cut vertical-first for Instagram reels, paid social ads and Amazon or Flipkart listings. The studio sources creators, writes scripts and agrees usage rights upfront; the videos on this page are for Shakti ceiling fans, APL Footwear and Canjuice.

Case studies · one video at a time

Three products, three ways to feel real.

A presenter at home, a silent try-on and a creator lookbook. Press play: videos load only when you ask.

Case 01 · Creator-style · Shakti ceiling fan

A friend's recommendation, with a remote in hand.

A presenter-led video for a Shakti ceiling fan: a host in a calm living room switches the fan on with its remote and talks the viewer through its high-speed performance, the way a friend would recommend it.

UGC formats · what we script

Six formats that sell without shouting.

Every UGC brief starts by choosing the format that fits the product and the place the video will run. These are the six we script, cast and cut most often.

  1. 01
    Ads · Reels · Listings

    Unboxing

The first 30 seconds with the product: box, contents, first touch. Proves the pack and the product live up to the promise.

  2. 02
    Reels · Listings

    Demo

One feature, shown working in a real home. Best for appliances whose benefit is hard to explain in a photo.

  3. 03
    Ads · Listings

    Review

A real user's honest verdict to camera after using the product for a while. Builds trust at the moment of purchase.

  4. 04
    Reels · YouTube Shorts

    How-to

Set-up, cleaning or a recipe, step by step. Useful content that people save and share.

  5. 05
    Ads

    Problem → solution

The everyday annoyance first, then the product fixing it. The workhorse format for paid social.

  6. 06
    Reels · Stories

    Day in the life

The product in a real routine from morning to night. Shows how it fits a family, not just a countertop.

Usage rights first. Every creator agreement settles where and for how long the brand can use the video, in organic posts, paid ads and on Amazon or Flipkart listings, before anyone presses record. Paid creator posts carry an ad disclosure; see influencer marketing.

Notes · quick answers

UGC video, in brief.

The same answers appear in the Story Design FAQ.

01

What is UGC content marketing?

UGC (user-generated content) marketing uses photos, videos and reviews made by real customers or creators, rather than studio-produced ads, to show a product in everyday use. Because it looks like a real person's experience, it is widely used in social ads, Instagram reels and Amazon or Flipkart listings.

02

Does Story Design create UGC content?

Yes. Story Design sources creators, writes scripts, agrees usage rights upfront, and delivers unboxing, demo and review-style videos cut for ads, social media and marketplace listings.

03

What are UGC usage rights?

UGC usage rights are the permissions a brand gets from a creator to use their video: where it can run (organic posts, paid ads, marketplace listings), for how long, and whether it can be edited. They should be agreed in writing before filming.

04

What is the difference between UGC and influencer marketing?

Influencer marketing pays for a creator's reach: the post goes out to their own followers. UGC pays for the content itself: the brand gets the video to use on its own channels, ads and product listings, whether or not the creator has a large following.
